Allana Ferguson bio
Allana began her career with Australia in Rugby Sevens back in 2013. After suffering numerous knee injuries throughout time, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana was the first to play in a female rugby union match which was held by New South Wales in 2013 and stood out in the match that was played against Queensland. Allana is also a regular radio personality, appearing regularly as part of 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana has a full teaching qualification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson enjoys the rare distinction to have represented Australia in three distinct sporting events - Rugby Sevens, Rugby League and Touch. Allana Ferguson is a Jillaroos rugby player and fourth time tear to the ACL is out of the game. The 25-year-old had previously torn the ligament on the same knee when she was between the ages of 15 and 17 and after a fourth tear the time for Ferguson to retire was up. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker was forced to leave early from the squad after suffering an ACL tear in the left side for the fourth time. Ferguson told The Courier Mail that she suffered the injury during training during November. She was a player in the women's rugby league for several seasons.
